Meet Lucas

Lucas is a colorist specializing in advertising projects and independent short films. His journey began during film school, where he started color grading independent uni short films. Since then, he’s focused on developing a strong visual language through color.

Visually, he’s inspired by bold cinematic aesthetics such as German Expressionism, Gothic Cinema, and Surrealism. Films like Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari (1920), Blue Velvet (1986), Ran (1985), Daughters of Darkness (1971) and Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992) are key references that inspires him through their intense and symbolic use of color and light.

Through his work, he aim’s to reflect and enhance each project's unique identity through color.
